Fruitful Living & Giving: Embracing Our Stewardship Journey

Fruitful Living & Giving:
Embracing Our Stewardship Journey

Dear Galloway Church Family,
This month, we are kicking off our stewardship emphasis by exploring “Fruitful Practices of Living and Giving.” Rooted in the powerful words of John 15:8, where Jesus says, “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples,” this initiative invites us to reflect deeply on what it means to bear fruit in our faith and service.

Fruitfulness, for us as a congregation, is about more than just numerical growth; it embodies our effectiveness in fulfilling the mission and purpose God has entrusted to us. At Galloway United Methodist Church, our mission is the same mission that Jesus gave his followers:

Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Achieving this mission requires our collective commitment to invest in what God is doing within our church and in our community.

When I first arrived at our church, I called us to “Dare to Dream God’s Dream.” This vision challenges us to look beyond our current reality and to aspire toward the incredible potential God has for us. As we embark on this journey of stewardship, we are not just asking for financial support; we are inviting you to invest your prayers, your time, and your heart into making those dreams a reality.

We understand that financial commitments can feel weighty, but we know that they are essential to a fruitful ministry that transforms lives. We encourage you and your family to join us in prayerfully, considering how you can contribute to God's work in and through our congregation. Each act of giving, no matter the size, plays a significant role in nurturing the fruitful practices that will enable us to carry out our mission.

As we work together, let us remember that fruitful ministry cannot happen without you. Your involvement and support are crucial. Together, we can create a vibrant, impactful church community that reflects God’s love and grace in our community and beyond.

Thank you for your ongoing faithfulness and support of Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church. Your past contributions have been invaluable in our mission to make disciples of all nations. May we continue to bear much fruit together, glorifying God in all we do.

In Christ’s love,

Rev. Dr. Raigan Miskelly
Senior Pastor
