Missions & Outreach

The Missions and Outreach Ministry at Galloway seeks to strengthen our witness to Christ through mission and service to others. Jesus said:

"You will be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth."

Acts 1:8

Our mission is to touch everyone in our Jerusalem, our local neighborhood, our Judea and Samaria, our broader community, and our ends of the earth, including international missions,
with the love and grace of Jesus Christ that brings about true and eternal transformation in people’s lives.
If you would like to learn more about volunteering and get plugged in with a ministry to serve, contact Sharon Davis, Director of Missions and Outreach, at SDavis@gallowayumc.org

Missions & Outreach

The Missions and Outreach Ministry at Galloway seeks to strengthen our witness to Christ through mission and service to others. The mission model that we have embraced is based on the Great Commission, Jesus’ final words to his followers.

Jesus said, “You will be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth.” Acts 1:8

Our mission is to touch everyone in our Jerusalem, our local neighborhood, our Judea and Samaria, our broader community, and our ends of the earth, including international missions, with the love and grace of Jesus Christ that brings about true and eternal transformation in people’s lives.

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away;  see, everything has become new!

2 Corinthians 5:17

Grace Place

Grace Place is a morning shelter, and place of respite, for the marginalized in our community. It is open from 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. every weekday morning, except Tuesday. Grace Place is a connectional ministry, linking local churches in meeting the needs of those so often ignored.  Grace Place recognizes the dignity of all persons by seeking authentic, grace-filled relationships, focusing on loving one another in the midst of difficult life challenges.
