Welcome to the Pew to Pavement - 5k & Beyond. We are glad you are here to join us on this exciting journey toward building your health and reaching new milestones as you also support the ministry of Grace Place. Whether you are a complete beginner or coming back after a break, this program is designed to meet you where you are.
Start slow, progress at your own pace: We’ll begin with a mix of walking and running and gradually increase your running intervals as your body adapts.
Niko Niko Pace: This term, meaning “run with a smile,” encourages you to run at a pace where you can still hold a conversation comfortably. This is your baseline - if you’re able to tell a story without gasping for air, you’re in the right zone!
Consistency is key: The most important part is getting out the door and making time to move, even if it’s just for a short session. You’ll be surprised at how quickly your endurance builds.
No pressure: Everyone progresses differently, and it’s perfectly fine to take it slow or repeat weeks if needed. The goal is to stay motivated and enjoy the process.
