Handbells

The Handbell Ministry is one of the fastest growing areas of the Music & Fine Arts Ministry at Galloway. Beginning in the fall of 2004, and for the first time in the church’s history, an on-going and organized handbell ministry was offered for adults. The response was so overwhelming that immediately two different choirs were offered, dependant upon ability and experience. Just four short months later, interest continued to grow and a third choir was added for those with little or no ringing experience. In January of 2006, because of the generosity of an anonymous donor, we were excited to purchase a brand new six-octave set of Malmark Handbells. These new bells have enabled us to continue to expand and improve our Handbell Ministry and will serve the needs of our church for many years to come.
