Youth Fellowship

Matthew 5:13-16 speaks on how we are the Salt and Light of the world, which shows our importance. Not just our importance to God but to each other. Who of you places one grain of salt on your meal? One grain of salt has no purpose, yet many grains bring taste and hold the power to preserve.
It is through community that the youth of Galloway grow in strength. The idea behind our youth fellowship is not to stop at having a youth group but to develop a youth family. Developing this family takes the love of 1 Corinthians 13:1-8, the discipleship of 2 Timothy 2:2, and the servant hood of the greatest example in Philippians 2:1-8.
Sunday School
On Sunday Mornings, we gather in the Youth Suite on the 5th floor beginning at 9:30 a.m. After announcements and prayer, we split into junior high and senior high classes.
- Junior High class is taught by Kacky Mangum and Teresa Arnold.
- Senior High is taught by Anna and Justin Peterson and Tim Allen.
Youth
Junior High and Senior High School Students meet at the church Sunday evenings beginning at 5:00 p.m. for a time of fellowship. We share in a meal together and learn more about God through music, videos, games and studying Scripture.
Community Service Projects
We are always trying to find new ways to reach out to the community and serve those around us. A few of our service projects include: The Bethlehem Center, Rise Against Hunger, Downtown Partners, Salvation Army and putting on an Easter Egg hunt for Children around the Jackson area.
