We're delighted that you are interested in GUMC. We hope you have shared in worship with us already, but if you haven't, we hope you will join us soon where you'll experience faith, fellowship and community.

Becoming a church member
If you have been worshiping with us and are interested in becoming a member, we encourage you to contact our Senior Pastors,Rev. Drs. Connie and Joey Shelton, 601-353-9691, for further information on what we believe and how you can join with us fill out our 'Contact Us' form.

 There are three ways to unite with the church:

• By profession of faith,
•  By transfer from another denomination, or
•  By transfer of membership from another Methodist church.

If you have been baptized, it is not necessary to be baptized again. If you have not been baptized, our Senior Pastors will explore with you the symbolism of baptism on the faith journey.
